| Church Administrator |

| The Church Committee has appointed Jim Bodles as Church Administrator. The Church Office is now manned from 9am - 1pm, Mon - Fri each week and Jim can be contacted on 93350926 or bodles7dw @btinternet.com. As a result of Jim being appointed Church Administrator he will be relinquishing the Hon Treasurer post. The Church Committee has appointed Jim Humphreys as Hon Treasurer and he will take up the post officially on 1st July. |

| Prayer Meetings |

| Prayer Meetings are held on Saturday mornings from 9am and Sunday Morning from 10.45am. To save heating the halls, the Saturday morning prayer meeting will meet in 1 Robinson's Row, still at 9a.m. except the last of the month when it clashes with the men's breakfast. |

| During the summer Joymount hopes to run plenty of events for our young people. | Car Boot Sale |

| Our Car Boot Sale is held every Thursday morning from 10am-12noon cars/vans who wish to take part pay £5. We also have filled rolls tea/coffee on sale in the Church Halls which also gives an opportunity to have a time of friendship and fellowship, so if you're free please drop in and see us. |

| Audio Visual Aids |

| The Church Committee have agreed to install additional audio and visual aids throughout the Church. The main aim of the system is to ensure that the whole congregation can worship and enjoy fellowship together every Sunday no matter where you choose to sit in church. This will be a computerised system installed in the church. There will be many advantages of having this system installed in the church. A few of these are outlined below: |

1. Hymns and Bible readings can be displayed on screens throughout the church to facilite worship.
2. Video presentations on many aspects of christian support throughout the world can be viewed throughout the church.
3. A camera at the front of the church will enable the whole congregation to visually participate in all aspects of the service such as baptisms.
4. An additional visual tool for children's addresses.
5. The ability to capture the service on a DVD for church members who are unable to attend church on a regular basis.

| Child Contact Centre |

| Efforts to establish a Carrickfergus Child Contact Centre, Based in Joymount are moving well. The Centre will provide an opportunity for children to meet with a non-resident parent in a safe, friendly and neutral environment. The Management Committee would like to recruit another committee member who would be willing to act as Secretary to the Committee (a part-time Co-ordinator will manage the day-to-day running of the Centre). |

| On Friday 2nd October 2009 the women of Joymount P.W. hope to hold a wedding memories and Bridal Tea Evening where it is hoped to have some of the younger members of the congregation modelling wedding dresses form 1940s t0 2000s. |

| We have some dresses from the 1960s, 1970s, 1980s and 1990s but would really like at least one or two from the 1940s and 1950s. If you or someone you know has a dress from any era and would like to see it modelled or displayed, can you please contact Avril Morrison on 028 93363753 or Joanne Taylor 0n 028 93367295. In addition we would very much like a copy of a photograph of you wearing the dress and/or your wedding album in order that the pictures can be displayed as the dress is modelled.
