ENVELOPE CONTRIBUTIONS Thu 25 February 2010
There has been some discussion in relation to replacing the Count Teams on Sunday nights with a small group who would count the money, log it directly into the computer data base and lodge it into the bank on a week day. This would involve setting up a few small groups to count the money received in envelopes for FWO, Property, United Appeal etc.

* *
I would be available to log the money into the computer and also train team members to deputise for me when I would be on holiday.
If you would be interested in being part of one of these teams I would be grateful if you would sign the sheet at the information table or speak to me personally, the Church Office number is 93350926. Thanks Jim Bodles

Message From the Ambulance Service ICE (In Case of Emergency) Sun 28 February 2010
The concept of ICE is a method of contact during emergency situations. As mobile phones are carried by the majority of the population, all you need to do is store the number of a contact person or persons who should be contacted during an emergancy under the name 'ICE' (In Case of Emergency) in your mobile phone.
* *
In an emergency situation, Emergency Service personnel and hospital staff would be able to contact the right person by simply dialling the number you have stored as 'ICE' in your mobile phone. If you want to include more than one contact person store them as ICE 1, ICE 2 and ICE 3 etc.
