| Prayer Meetings |

| Prayer Meetings are held on Saturday mornings from 9am and Sunday Morning from 10.45am. To save heating the halls, the Saturday morning prayer meeting will meet in 1 Robinson's Row, still at 9a.m. except the last of the month when it clashes with the men's breakfast. | The car boot team are hoping to have a range of items suitable for Christmas. If you have anything suitable for gifts, Children's books, toys etc. in good condition, please bring them to the Church hall on a Thursday from 8am - 12 noon and ask for Robert, Jean or Hugh. Thanks for your help. |

| Our Car Boot Sale is held every Thursday morning from 10am-12noon cars/vans who wish to take part pay £5. We also have filled rolls tea/coffee on sale in the Church Halls which also gives an opportunity to have a time of friendship and fellowship, so if you're free please drop in and see us. |

| Message From the Ambulance Service ICE (In Case of Emergency) |

| The concept of ICE is a method of contact during emergency situations. As mobile phones are carried by the majority of the population, all you need to do is store the number of a contact person or persons who should be contacted during an emergancy under the name 'ICE' (In Case of Emergency) in your mobile phone. |

| In an emergency situation, Emergency Service personnel and hospital staff would be able to contact the right person by simply dialling the number you have stored as 'ICE' in your mobile phone. If you want to include more than one contact person store them as ICE 1, ICE 2 and ICE 3 etc. |

The local Simon Community operates from the Curran Road in Larne and are keen to speak to as many groups as possible regarding the work they undertake. | Interested in getting to know other members of the congregation? Interested in taking time out to study the Bible? If you answer yes to these two questions then Small Group might be your answer. Small Groups are informal meetings which centre around Bible study. |

| Held on different week nights through the week, we currently have three different groups. For more information speak to David Bothwell, Sharon Adamson or Stephen Drake and if you want to come along, give your name and night that would best suit you to Stephen Drake at the Book Stall. |

| Seating in Church |

| The seats in the pews in Joymount belong to Jesus. We are His guests. No seat can be held for anyone, save those reserved at the front for special visitors. (They, also are on a first come first seat basis). There are special areas in the Church, namely the armchairs at the back of the church and shorter pews which are for members who use wheel chairs. |

| If you are accustomed to using a pew that has been designated for wheelchair users, please note you may, on occasions need to move to a different pew. Please be sensitive to all who gather to worship. Thank you. |

| Many thanks to all who completed the talent audit offering to help with catering in the Church. | Joymount Celebrating 160 years |

| As most of you know Joymount will be celebrating its 160th anniversary next year and the Kirk Session are looking at ways of celebrating this significant milestone. With this in mind the Kirk Session and Committee are asking the congregation to put forward any suggestions they may have with the Church mission Statement in mind, Come to Jesus, Grow with Jesus and Go for Jesus "Come, Grow, Go". |

| The Church Committe would like to remind all organisations using the Church facilities to check the Church halls etc. before leaving and locking up. Please ensure all lights are switched off, all toilets checked, taps are off and all doors are closed including emergency doors. |
